Running back Xzavion Huff made a huge impression in his first-ever junior varsity football game.
The 5-foot-8, 157-pound freshman scored five times and rushed 10 times for 301 yards in Maiden’s 58-28 win against Fred T. Foard on Thursday.
Huff also completed two passes in the contest for 41 yards.
Maiden junior varisty quarterback Caleb Farley added 73 yards through the air and another Maiden score.
Farley also ran for another 97 yards on four carries, including two scores.
On the Blue Devils first play from scrimmage, Huff ran 60 yards for his first score of the game.
Before the contest was over, Huff would add four more touchdown runs of 61, 45, 60 and 27 yards.
Foard was led by Zander Toy, who threw an 82-yard touchdown pass to Luke Shubert in the second quarter.
Toy also ran for two touchdowns from five and nine yards out — both coming in the fourth quarter.
Tigers running back Chayson Faust also ran for a 48-yard score in the first half of the game.
