The Charlotte Bobcats signed guard Jannero Pargo to a second 10-day contract on Sunday.
The 33-year-old out of the University of Arkansas has provided a spark off of the bench in the absence of the injured Ramon Sessions.
In five games with the Bobcats, Pargo is averaging 11.2 points and 3.2 assists in 17.2 minutes per game.
“Pargo’s got swagger, like I've said before," said Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap after Saturday's 92-91 loss to Detroit. "He plays tall. He gives us some bravado. A team like ours needs a little bite to us, and I like that about him both offensively and defensively. He just plays the game the way it should be played — hard.”
Pargo, who is in his ninth NBA season, was originally signed by Charlotte to his first 10-day contract on March 14.
