Bandys football coach Randy Lowman is retiring after 26 years as head coach, the school announced on Wednesday.
Lowman, 58, is also leaving his teaching and athletic director positions. His last day at the school will be Dec. 31.
In 26 years as the leader of the Trojans' football program, Lowman tallied a 206-118-1 overall record, including a 104-75 mark in conference play.
Lowman became the third Catawba County coach to break the 200-win barrier with a 42-18 victory on Sept. 7 against North Lincoln.
No replacement for Lowman has been announced, but school officials expect a new coach to be named in a press conference either Friday or Tuesday.
