The St. Stephens volleyball team won its 20th game of the season on Monday, knocking off Freedom in Hickory 25-9, 25-7 and 25-15.
Rebecca Millsaps and Jodi Kerley led Saint (20-1) with seven digs each. Katelyn Houser added 10 assists and five kills.

The Tigers picked up a home conference victory against the Cougars on Monday in Newton.
Kenan Ruffner scored two goals for Foard (12-5-1, 3-4-1), while Daniel Tomberlin and Ryan Stasiak added a goal each.
Wyatt Shely assisted twice on Tiger goals, while Raul Marita and Chandler Bouldin each assisted once.
St. Stephens 5, South Caldwell 1
Luke Bruce scored four goals to lead the Indians to the conference victory in Hickory on Monday against the Spartans.
Rafael Sauceda added a goal for St. Stephens (10-5-2, 5-1-2), while Nich Bryant made three assists.
Andrew Barton and Osvaldo Cruz also had an assist each for Saint.
West Caldwell 2, Newton-Conover 1
The Warriors moved into second place with a victory over the Red Devils on Monday at Gurley Stadium.
Grant Barnette and Ivan Rivero each scored goals for West Caldwell (10-3-1, 7-1-0)
Franklin Wepner made the only goal for the Red Devils (7-4-1, 5-2-0) in the 39th minute.
