CVCC tops Spartanburg Methodist, moves to 18-0

The Catawba Valley Community College volleyball team won its 18th straight volleyball game on the road Tuesday against Spartanburg Methodist 25-18, 25-15 and 25-22.

Jennifer Beatty led the Lady Bucs (18-0, 8-0) with 10 kills, 17 digs, one ace, one assist and two blocks.

Lacy Goodson also tallied 27 assists for CVCC.

The Lady Bucs travel to Johnson and Wales University for a 7 p.m. match on Thursday before returning home Friday at the Tarlton Complex for a tri-match with Wake Tech Community College and Wilkes Community College.
