Bandys enters tonight's contest with a record of 23-1, while East Burke enters with a record of 17-8. The Trojans swept the season series between the two schools.

With 2:30 left in half, Lady Cavaliers take a time out. Bandys' Madi Story has scored 10 points in the second quarter to give the Trojans a 34-18 lead.
East Burke closes out the half with back-to-back three-pointers by Lauren Arney and Dorinda Tomlinson pull the Lady Cavaliers to within 10 points, 38-28, at the half.

Second half
Outrebounding the Cavaliers 16-5 in the third quarter, Bandys scored 26 points in the third quarter to pull away 64-41 at the end of the third.
Despite not scoring a point in the first half, Jesse Story paced the Lady Trojans' third with 10 points.
Ahead by more than 20 points, the Lady Trojans cruised, advancing to Friday's final against the Lady Red Devils of Newton-Conover. The winner earns not only the Catawba Valley 2A tournament title, but the regular season title, as well.
