Wreck traps 1, injures at least 4

At least four people were transported to hospitals this afternoon following a three-vehicle wreck on N.C. 10 in Newton.

The wreck, which happened about 3 p.m. just west of U.S. 321 Business, stalled traffic on N.C. 10.

At 4:15 p.m., emergency crews were still working to free one person from a vehicle involved in the crash.
