Pamela Jean Lingerfelt

A Lincoln County woman faces drug charges Monday after multiple law enforcement agencies busted a marijuana-growing operation in her home.
Narcotics officers from the Catawba County Sheriff's Office, Newton Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff's Office arrested Pamela Jean Lingerfelt, 48, at her home Friday. They discovered 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine, $1,900 in cash, several items of drug paraphernalia and 22 grams of marijuana in a hidden growing operation in an outbuilding on the property.
The marijuana was hidden behind a false wall in the outbuilding. Officers had to break down the wall to reach the drugs. Lingerfelt was allegedly accessing the marijuana through a trap door.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Lingerfelt's home after receiving several tips about drug activity from multiple sources. Lingerfelt was arrested and transported to Harven A. Crouse Detention Center in Lincolnton under a $100,000 bond. She is charged with multiple different drug offenses, including felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and felony maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance.
Lingerfelt was set in appear in Lincoln County District Court on Monday. The outcome of that appearance wasn't available as of press time Monday.

Why do people hide drugs? What's the point, it only damages you in the long run. If you are dumb enough to grow it then you really dont care about getting caught.People that grow it are dumb because you may spend so long trying to grow it then as its just getting ready you get caught ..... why waste time when you get caught before you even use it????? in my opinion just grow flowers.....they are more pretty anyway..!!!
