Yet another winter storm hit Catawba County on Friday. While the precipitation didn’t reach as high as previous storms, the impact was still felt  on the roads.

Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid said that a total of 56 accidents were reported as of late afternoon Friday.

Fourteen of those resulted in injuries but none of them were serious.

To read more of this story, pick up the weekend edition (Saturday through Monday) of Catawba County's community newspaper, The Observer News Enterprise, at newsstands throughout the county.
