Wesley’s Tavern scorched by fire

At 4:54 Friday morning, Hickory firefighters responded to a reported fire located at 1095 Lenoir Rhyne Blvd SE. (Wesley’s Tavern). Upon arrival at 04:57, firefighters reported fire coming from the roof of the building. A second alarm was called to respond additional units to assist with the incident.
