This week's felony convictions

The following citizens were convicted of felony crimes this week in Superior Court in Catawba County.

* Joshua Alan Buchanan, 28, of Hickory, was convicted of felony trafficking of opium or heroin, five counts of felony breaking or entering, felony possession of stolen goods and habitual felon status. He was sentenced to 208-268 months in the Division of Adult Correction.

* Travis Montrell McDaniel, 27, of Claremont, was convicted of felony possession of stolen motor vehicle and was sentenced to 9-11 months in the Division of Adult Correction.

* Dorian Lamont Stanford, 35, of Newton, was convicted of two counts of felony indecent liberties with a child and was sentenced to 23-28 months in the Division of Adult Correction.

* Mark Alan Willard, 29, of Catawba County, was convicted of felony possession of firearm by felon, felony possession of stolen firearm and misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.
