This week's criminal convictions

The following Catawba County residents were convicted this past week in Criminal Superior Court:

* Rickey Joe Drum, 36, of Maiden, was convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, misdemeanor assault on a government officer, misdemeanor injury to personal property, misdemeanor communicating threats, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. He was sentenced to 26-41 months in the N.C. Department of Correction.

* Cory A. Birchfield, 21, of Conover, was convicted of felony common law robbery and was sentenced to 51-71 months in the Department of Correction.

* Wesley Ryan Shook, 20, of Hickory, was convicted of felony first-degree burglary and felony common law robbery and sentenced to 60-81 months in the Department of Correction.

* Antonio Shaquille Williams, 19, of Hickory, was convicted of felony discharge weapon into occupied property.
