Mary Louise Bandy Gantt, 93, of Newton, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley.  The Gantt family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Conover.

Forrest Carpenter Isenhower, 96, of Newton, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at Abernethy Laurels.  The Isenhower family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.
