Calvin Joseph “Joey” Robison Jr., 36, of Newton, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at his residence. The Robison family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Wayne Brevard Whitesides, 59, of Lincolnton, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.  A memorial service was held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Living Word Pentecostal Holiness Church in Maiden.

William Monroe Smith, 64, of Newton, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Arrangements are incomplete with Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
