Tuesday's Easter Classic scores, Wednesday games

Trailing by a run in the bottom of the seventh inning, Newton-Conover (3-11) scored seven runs, including two off the bat of shortstop Spencer Travis, to pull off a comeback win against Fred T. Foard in consolation action in the Catawba County Easter Baseball Classic.

Wednesday's games (at American Legion Fairgrounds)
Third-place game: No. 6 West Caldwell (6-9) vs. No. 1 South Iredell (9-4), 4:30 p.m.

Championship game: No. 5 Maiden (9-7) vs. No. 2 Hickory (11-5), 7:30 p.m.
