James Edwin Ryan Sr., 76, of Newton, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at his residence. A service of remembrance was held Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton with Chaplain Kim Dowell officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Cleveland, S.C.
