Carrie M. Sigmon, 94, of Newton, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton.  The Sigmon family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Katherine Alice White, 40, of Newton, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.  The White family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home and Cremations in Conover.

James Cleveland Hensley, 65, of Conover, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.  Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Hensley family.

Cynthia Hollar Smrzlick, 51, of Banner Elk, formerly of Maiden, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Life Care Center in Banner Elk.  The Smrzlick family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation in Conover.

Janie Lee Towler Evans, 77 of Lincolnton, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at CMC-Lincoln.  E. F. Drum Funeral Home is serving the Evans family.

Chelsea Nevaeh Johnson, infant daughter of Quincy Dean and Jamie Shante Gaither Johnson, was born and died Thursday Nov. 10, 2011 at Frye Regional Medical Center.  The Johnson family has entrusted arrangements to Jenkins Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Newton.

Lilly Beatrice Smith Hannon, 80, of Lincolnton, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Brian Center in Lincolnton.  E. F. Drum Funeral Home is serving the Hannon family.

Phyllis Ann Fowler Anthony, 72, of Lincolnton, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at CMC-Main.  E. F. Drum Funeral Home is serving the Anthony family.
