Kenneth Edward Ramsey, 52, of Claremont, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. The Ramsey family entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.
Hilma Lucille Warren Witherspoon, 95, of Conover passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Lutheran Home Springs Road in Hickory surrounded by her loyal and caring family. Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Witherspoon family.
Betty Ruth Bumgarner Roberts, 81 of Rock Barn Road, Conover, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her residence. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends immediately after the service in the chapel.
Hugh Elliott Baxter, Jr., 63, of E. Holly St., Maiden passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln in Lincolnton after an extended illness. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the church.
Carolyn Sue Long Perryman, 69, died Friday, July 13, 2012 at Brian Center East in Hickory.
