Patricia Scronce Lee, 72, of Viewmont, formerly of Caldwell Road in Newton, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Brian Center in Viewmont.  The Lee family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Earle Thomas Hoyle, 80, of Newton, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Frye Regional Medical Center.  The Hoyle family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

William Marshall Mauney Sr., 68, of Newton, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley.  The Mauney family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Crematory in Conover.

Ben Eugene Isenhour, 83, of Conover, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Abernethy Laurels of Newton.  The Isenhour family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation in Conover.

Fred Marshall Beal, 91, of East Maiden Road, Maiden, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at his residence.  Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Beal Family.

Linda Kay Raines, 41, of Hartley Kincaid Place, Lenoir, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at her residence.  The Raines family has entrusted arrangements to Jenkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Newton.

Viola Young Whitener, 77, of Conover, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.  Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Whitener family.

Franklin “Frank” Delano Roosevelt Withers, 72, of Kayla Ridge Road, Connelly Springs, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley.  The Withers family entrusted arrangements to Jenkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Newton.

Zackie Louis McCrary, 79, of Conover, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.  Drum Funeral Home in Conover is handling arrangements.
