Barrett William Lynch, 45, of Mt. Airy, formerly of Newton,  died after a courageous battle on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. The Lynch family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Floyd Robert “Robby” Duncan Jr., 59, of Newton died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at his residence.  Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, N.C.,  28658.

Lester Ray Hastings, 68, of Hickory died Feb. 16, 2013, at NC Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem.  Pastor Marvin Hastings will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Tommy Albert Mayhew, 67, of Charlotte died Friday, Feb. 15 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Terry Wayne Spradlin, 69, of Hickory died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. There are no services planned at this time.
