Fannie Lou Newton Sigmon, 83, of Taylors, S.C., died Dec. 5, 2011, after a brief illness at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, S.C.  Familes will be at their respective homes.

Ethel Mae Rinehardt Barkley, 86, of Walker Road, Maiden, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at her residence.  Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Barkley Family.

Glenn Earl Jolley, 64, of Conover, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011.  The Jolley family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Conover.

Bernice “Bern” J. McRee, 95, of Maiden, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at Conover Nursing & Rehab Center.  The McRee family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Dollie Witherspoon Deal, 88, of Sharon School Road, Statesville, died Friday Dec. 2, 2011 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.  Chapman Funeral Home is assisting the family of Dollie Deal.

Linda Danielson Ellis, 67, of Hickory, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Bass-Smith Funeral Home is serving the family of Linda Danielson Ellis.

Mrs. Zona May Drum Weaver, 96, of Conover, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation, surrounded by her family.  The Weaver family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover.
