Traffic stop results in drug arrests

Two men were arrested Monday night around 10 p.m. after a traffic stop resulted in drug charges.

Newton Police Department Captain Tim Hayes said the call began as a shoplifting call located at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Northwest Blvd. in Newton. Once officers reached the scene, the store clerk pointed out the shoplifter and well as three other  men leaving the store. She said she believed they were involved in the shoplifting.
