Tigers 3A title series postponed until Saturday

June 1, 2012

The 3A softball state title series between Fred T. Foard (25-4) and C.B. Aycock (29-2) that was slated to start on Friday has been postponed.

The first game, originally slated for Friday at 8 p.m. on Field 5 of the Walnut Creek Softball Complex, was cancelled due to storms and heavy rain in the Raleigh area.

Game one will be played on Saturday at 11 a.m. with game two to follow at 2:30 p.m.

If a third and final game is needed, it will be played on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Admission to each of the three games is $8. After the first game, the stadium will be cleared out and patrons must pay $8 again to see the second game.
