Calvin Lynn Christopher, 41, of Catawba, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Christopher Family.

Marie Rehwoldt Hadle, 81, of Newton died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton with Chaplin Larry Bolick officiating.
