Mildred Ray Burns Ball, 87, of Hickory, was surrounded by her family and released her hand into her Lord and savior on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at her residence. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Nancy Faye Hoffman Griswold, 81, of Newton, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Abernethy Laurels in Newton. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.
