Bernice Robinson Caldwell, 86, of Maiden passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Burke Mortuary in Newton is serving the Caldwell family.
Betty Gail Brawley Pitts, 80, of Newton passed away Nov. 24, 2012 at the Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Carolina Cremation of Salisbury, North Carolina is assisting the Pitts family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.
Angela Elaine Hayes Hovis, 55, of Lincolnton died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at her residence. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Mike Rice will officiate.
Ethel Proctor Lentz, 91, of Hickory died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton. She was born Jan. 12, 1921 in Catawba Co., to the late Dorce and Mamie Correll Proctor. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 2 -2:45 p.m.
