James Carroll White, 65 of Liberty Church Road, Hickory died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm, in the chapel, one hour prior to the service. 

Mildred “Mickie” Elizabeth Bedington, 84 of Hickory passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Lutheran Home Hickory West.  The family requests memorials be made to Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658 or The Humane Society of Catawba County, 3224 20th Avenue, S.E. Hickory, NC 28602.
