Three Catawba County athletic directors leaving

All seven Catawba County high schools have changed athletic directors after the calendar year.

Three county athletic directors, including Chad Smith (Fred T. Foard), Dennis Whitener (St. Stephens) and Randy Lowman (Bandys), are leaving their respective schools effective Dec. 31.
