Student brings disarmed hand grenade to school

A high school student was charged with a misdemeanor on Friday, Sept. 28.
  
Adam Riley Tadlock, 16, from 4000 Summit Ridge Lane, Denver, was charged with Perpetrating a Hoax Using a False Bomb after bringing a disarmed hand grenade to North Lincoln High School.
   
Tadlock was confronted by Principal Martha Helton and School Resource Officer Stephen Edwards after another student told assistant principals that Tadlock had a hand grenade in his possession. Edwards asked Tadlock to step into the hallway with his back pack.
