Special Reunion Speaker

An Army officer whose family ties to Catawba County are strong and bonding and whose current post is special assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, will be the principal speaker for the 125th annual Soldiers Reunion on Thursday, August 21. Speaking at the 4 p.m. ceremony outdoors on Courthouse Square in Newton—the traditional third Thursday of August Reunion Day—will be Colonel James P. Isenhower III, director of the Office of Warrior and Family Support for the commanders of the United States military forces.
