Chandler Johnson led N-C (14-6-1) with two goals, while Franklin Wepner and Eli Cordes tallied an assist each.
The Red Devils travel to Lincolnton (17-4-1) for a second-round match up on Wednesday.

The Indians had their season ended by the Patriots in Morganton on Saturday in overtime.
Nich Bryant and Luke Bruce both netted a goal each for Saint (14-7-2).
Rafael Sauceda also made an assist for the Indians.

The Tigers were shut out on the road against the Green Wave (19-2-1) on Saturday.
Foard finishes its season at 16-8-1 overall.
Hickory 5, Patton 0
Ben Pleasant scored two goals, leading the Red Tornadoes to their third win of the season against the Panthers.
Carlos Seville, Frankie Wyatt and Carson Hart added a goal each for Hickory (24-1), who had already beaten Patton twice in the regular season, including a 4-0 win on Aug. 23 and a 6-2 victory on Aug. 27.
The Red Tornadoes host Ashbrook (19-2-1) in the third round on Wednesday.
