Slow polling

July 13, 2012

Early voting and curbside voting in the primary run-off concludes at 1 p.m. Saturday and so far turnout has been ... slow.

Catawba County Board of Elections Director Larry Brewer said that as of 4 p.m. Friday about 287 people had visited the early voting site at the Newton branch of the Catawba County Library. About 69,200 people are eligible to vote in the primary run-off.

"It is less than what it normally is," he said. "I would think that is because it is all state races — nothing local, but that is just guessing."

this early voting is a crock.

Go back to voting on election day and allowing absentees for the military and thats it!

If you can't vote on election day, than DONT!

If you don't think enough of this country to vote than to heck with you! All your doing is opening it up for more fraud!
