Shots fired at Newton club

A bar fight at a popular Newton nightclub escalated into gunfire early Sunday morning on the north side of the city.

Police are trying to identify the suspect who fired shots outside of Club Senorial in Newton about 2:30 a.m. Sunday and fled the scene before officers arrived.

No one was injured in the shooting, but a bullet struck an occupied food truck that was serving food outside the nightclub.
