Patsy Nelson Cagle took Jesus’ hand and walked through the gates of Heaven on Friday, March 8, 2013 after a period of declining health, Hickory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kenneth “Ken” Carroll Beard, Sr., 78, of Maiden died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service, from 2-2:45 p.m., at Burke Mortuary in Newton.
