Evan Sylvanus Setzer Jr., 85, of Kinston, and formerly of Greensboro and Newton, died Jan. 15, 2012, at the VA Nursing Home in Fayetteville. The Setzer family has entrusted local arrangements to Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.
Stephen Eric Slaughter, 45, of Police Range Drive, Maiden, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Slaughter Family.
Charles Gabriel, 49, of Claremont, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Drum Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Conover.
