Rudisill's 5 RBIs helps Hickory end losing skid
Hickory Post 48 overcame an early deficit on the road Thursday to end a three-game losing skid with a 12-11 victory against Waynesville.
Post 48 (4-3, 3-2) trailed 4-0 early, but scored three runs in the third inning and six in the sixth inning to pull ahead and go on to win.
Aaron Rudisill led Hickory with two hits, including a home run, and dorve in five RBIs.
Post 48 center fielder Phillip Carroll added three hits, including a two-run homer.
Zach Jarrett, Jordan Eckard and Matt Johnson also had two hits apiece for Hickory.
Post 48 pitcher Ben Watson picked up the victory on the mound.
