The Hickory Crawdads pulled out a 13-inning victory Friday against Savannah in South Atlantic League play.
Third baseman Drew Robinson led the 'Dads (10-5) with three RBIs, including a two-RBI double that plated Jeremy Williams and Kellin Deglan.
Outfielder Chris Grayson drove in the other run in the 13th frame for the 'Dads. His double scored Robinson.
Hickory scored one run each in the first and second innings, including an RBI double by Zach Cone and a fielder's choice by Robinson.
The Sand Gnats (10-6) answered Hickory's one run in the first with a run scored of their own. T.J. Rivera grounded into a double play, but drove in Brandon Brown in the process.
The 'Dads led 2-1 after the second inning, and neither team scored until the seventh inning. The Sand Gnats' Travis Taijeron hit a sac fly to Grayson, which scored Dustin Lawley.
The game remained tied until Hickory's three-run 13th gave them their 10th win of the season.
Phil Klein earned the win on the mound for Hickory to go to 1-0 on the season. He struck out two batters and walked one in two innings pitched.
Savannah's Jerad West suffered the loss.
