Riverbend Park closed today

Riverbend Park, off N.C. 16 in northern Catawba County, is closed Monday for the safety of the public.
Duke Energy will open flood gates at the Oxford Dam following weekend rains. Conditions are unsafe for patrons at the park when the flood gates open.
