Revival Under the Arbor

 St. Matthew’s United Church of Christ will hold its annual Revival Under the Arbor from Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.

“Parables for Our Time” is the theme for the nightly services. The revival will feature the following guest pastors: Aug. 31 — The Rev. Linn Finger, pastor, Pilgrim Congregational Church of Charlotte, and a performance by the Christian band 3:16; Sept. 1 — The Rev. Eddie Andrews, youth pastor, First Baptist Church, Lincolnton; and Sept. 2 — The Rev. Lutz Keller, supply pastor, Grace United Church of Christ, Newton.

Services start at 7:15 p.m. with a congregational hymn sing followed by the worship service at 7:30 p.m.  The public is invited.
