Rapper arrested in Conover

The headline act for the Conover Tavern was arrested Saturday at the Holiday Inn Express in Conover for drug related offenses.

Rap artist, Sean P. Joseph from Atlanta Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver marijuana, simple assault and Possession of Scheduled III Controlled substance.

The arrest occurred when Conover police were summoned to the second floor of the Holiday Inn Express at 3:18 a.m. in response to a reported fight in one of the rooms.
