The Catawba County Board of Commissioners will hold three public hearings during the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Monday, June 17, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the 1924 Courthouse at 30 North College Ave. in Newton.

The first public hearing is for a proposed application for a $750,000 Community Development Block Grant for use in extending the Old Shelby Road waterline, which will serve 62 homes, including 53 low to moderate income homes with critical water needs.
