Brittany Moss scored 23 points to help the Bandys girls basketball team come away with a 51-point victory Wednesday in Hickory against St. Stephens, 102-51.
Haleigh Lackey added 18 points and Morgan Bibey chipped in 17 points for Bandys (3-0).
Autumn Williams led Saint (1-3) with 15 points, while Jodi Kerley added 13 points.
Boys basketball
North Lincoln 59, Maiden 51
The Knights picked up a home victory by knocking off the Blue Devils for the second time this season.
Landon Yarbrough scored a game-high 17 points for North Lincoln (4-1). Knight teammates Hunter Caldwell and Christian Ramos chipped in 12 points each.
Alex White led Maiden (0-3) with 14 points, while Ricky Taylor and Austin Wright added 10 points each.
St. Stephens 63, Bandys 30
The Indians moved to 4-0 with a victory Wednesday against the Trojans in Hickory.
Kerigan Farley led Saint with 17 points, while Zach Houston added 13 points.
Hunter Lackey led Bandys (1-2) in scoring for the second-straight game with 14 points.
Fred T. Foard 81, Patton 45
Pulling out to a 48-26 lead by halftime, the Tigers cruised to a non-conference victory Wednesday against the Panthers.
Jordan Turner scored 16 points to lead Foard (3-0) — one of four Tigers to reach double digits in scoring, including Daniel Tomberlin (12 points), Jacob Schmidt (11 points) and Ketty Cameron (10 points).
