PREP NOTEBOOK: Indians move to 9-0 on season

Behind 18 points from Kerigan Farley and 13 points from Zach Houston, the St. Stephens boys basketball team continue its impressive start to the season with a 52-38 victory against Bandys on Thursday in Catawba.

With the non-conference, the Indians improve to 9-0 on the season. Bandys falls to 2-5 on the year.

Saint led 27-19 at halftime, but pulled away in the second half for the double-digit victory.

Colton Medlin led the Trojans with 10 points, while Kyle Tiffany added nine points.

Bandys 68, St. Stephens 38

Four Lady Trojans scored in double digits en route to a non-conference win on Thursday against the Lady Indians.

Madi Story led Bandys (6-1) with 16 points, Sarah Goble and Sierra Brotherton both scored 12 points and Haleigh Lackey added 10 points in the win.

Autumn Williams matched Story's performance, scoring 16 points of her own to lead St. Stephens (2-7).
