Maiden rallied with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to advance to Monday's Catawba Valley 2A baseball final, knocking off defending champion Bunker Hill, 7-6.
The Blue Devils will face top-seeded Draughn in the Monday final at L.P. Frans at 7 p.m.

Trojans to play for softball crown
Bandys, the regular season softball champions in the Catawba Valley 2A, will play for the CVAC tournament championship Monday against second-seeded Draughn at East Burke High School.
The Lady Trojans knocked off No. 4 Maiden, 3-1, to advance to the final.
Jessica Younger drove in two RBIs for Bandys, while Kathleen Reardon plated the team's other run.
Lady Trojans pitcher Taylor Sigmon struck out 12 Maiden batters in the victory.
Draughn advanced to the final with a 5-2 victory against Bunker Hill, behind a three-hit performance on the mound by Tylan Triplett.

Lady Cougars edge Lady Indians for title
Taylor Wike plate the lone run in the game on an RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Alexander Central to a 1-0 victory over St. Stephens in the NWC softball tournament championship game at ACHS.

Red Tornadoes advance, Indians fall
Third-seeded Hickory pulled the upset against second-seeded Watauga during Friday's Northwestern 3A/4A baseball semifinals at M.S. Deal Stadium in Granite Falls.
The Red Tornadoes were powered by a six-run second inning and a five-run seventh inning. Hickory plays top seed South Caldwell in the Northwestern 3A/4A baseball tournament championship game Saturday at M.S. Deal Stadium.
The Spartans score a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge St. Stephens by one run, 3-2.

The Lady Indians wrapped up their fourth-straight Northwestern 3A/4A girls soccer title with a shutout victory Friday against the Lady Spartans.
Junior Macy Franklin scored all three goals for the St. Stephens in the victory, while Kalyn Meosky and Olivia Holmes picked up assists.
Taylor Logan had her 10th shutout in goal on the season for Saint (18-1-2, 11-0-1).
East Burke 3, Maiden 1
Lauren Arney, Ashley George and Dakota Fulton each pocketed a goal to lead the Lady Cavaliers (6-13-2, 4-9-1) to the tiebreaker game victory against the Lady Blue Devils.
With the win, East Burke earns the No. 5 spot in the Catawba Valley 2A and the conference's final spot in the 2A girls soccer playoffs.
