Behind 419 yards of total offense, Bunker Hill defeated Fred T. Foard on the football field, 34-0, in Claremont.

The Bears tallied 294 yards of offense on the ground, led by Jordan Eckard’s 98 yards on 22 carries and a rushing score.

Colton Chapman led Bunker Hill (3-0) with 204 yards of total offense, including 125 through the air and 79 on the ground.

Chapman also scored two rushing touchdowns and threw another to wide receiver J’len Wilson.

Jacob Schmidt led Foard (0-3) with 32 rushing yards on 12 carries.

Bunker Hill travels to West Iredell (0-2) next Friday, while Fred T. Foard hosts West Lincoln (3-0).

Chase 38, Bandys 13

Chase scored 38 unanswered points to defeat its second Catawba County opponent in as many weeks.

Chase running back Josh Wright scored a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Logan Beegle led Bandys (2-1) with a 65-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Carr. Dillon Street made the other score for Bandys on a 14-yard scamper.

Bandys tries to bounce back when it hosts Alexander Central (0-2) next Friday night.
