Prep Football is BACK!

August 20, 2010

The lights turn on tonight, and the gladiators of the high school gridiron take the field for another season of high school football in Catawba County. Be sure to look Saturday in The Observer News Enterprise to get all your favorite teams' scores, and we will also post the stories on the website.

There are four games tonight featuring five teams from Catawba County, and two of them are home games. The Bandys Trojans travel Friday to Plateau Road to take on the Fred T. Foard Tigers, and the Maiden Blue Devils host North Lincoln for the 2010 season opener.

There are also two teams on the road. Bunker Hill is at Cherryville, and St. Stephens travels to East Surry.
