Police catch suspects

Hickory Police stopped a purple Chevrolet Caprice after an alleged armed robbery at 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
The car was occupied by two males that were arrested after a traffic stop at about noon on Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard for allegedly robbing a residence in the 200 block of 10th Avenue Southeast in Hickory.
Hickory Police Sgt. R. George said the suspects were somewhat cooperative during the arrest, and evidence was found in the car.
Hickory Police are investigating.
