The Zahra Baker All Children’s Playground glistened with the reflections of 2,000 pinwheels for prevention on Wednesday afternoon.

The blue and silver pinwheels were planted by volunteers from the Target Distribution Center in Newton, and held a special meaning to Catawba County.
