This photo of Newton Police Department parking enforcement officer Evaleene Fowler is The O-N-E news photo of the week.

Fowler, known by many in the community, was hit by a car Friday in downtown Newton. The 86-year-old officer was transported to Catawba Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
