Panthers agree to terms with 13 undrafted rookies
The Carolina Panthers were busy on Tuesday, agreeing to terms with 13 undrafted rookie free agents.
Many deem this signing period after the NFL Draft as the "eighth round," where teams agree to terms with players who were not selected during last week's draft.
Among those signed by Carolina were defensive tackle Casey Walker, quarterback Colby Cameron, defensive end Craig Roh, linebacker Damario Jeffery, cornerback Melvin White, fullback Michael Zordich, kicker Morgan Lineberry, guard Robert Jones, safety Robert Lester, tight end Taylor Cook, guard Tori Mobley, wide receiver Trey Diller and defensive end/linebacker Wes Horton.
In addition to agreeing to terms with these players, Carolina also signed free agent tight end Brandon Williams, who played college football at Oregon and Joliet Junior College.
These signings bring the Panthers total number of players to 86, leaving four potential spots left for the team to sign to completely fill its 90-man roster.
